About the Artist

Magenta Fantasies Art is operated by Kelsey Hails. She has degrees in Graphic Design and Creative Writing from Susquehanna University and has extensively studied photography, fine art and art history. She strives for her art to be original, fun, memorable, idealistic and sometimes zany. Her art is inspired by eclectic sources including literature, comics, animation and video games. Her art process involves coloring her hand-drawn line art in bold palettes in Adobe Illustrator, then adds texture, shading and other effects in Adobe Photoshop. She is also an authoress; she has been published in literary magazines and has written several novels. Born and raised in New Hampshire, she cheerfully continues to live there.
